Welcome — from holding to using

Crypto From Zero made you safe holding crypto — owning your keys, backing them up, not getting phished. This course is about the next step: actually using crypto — connecting your wallet to applications, trading, lending, staking, NFTs. It's a whole new world, and a whole new class of risk. Most people step into it unprepared and get drained. This course prepares you first.

What you'll be able to do

  • Understand what "connect wallet" and signing actually do, and read what you approve
  • Manage token approvals and revoke the ones that put your funds at risk
  • Understand how DEXs, lending, staking, stablecoins, and bridges really work
  • Judge where a yield genuinely comes from, and spot the too-good-to-be-true ones
  • See through NFT hype to what digital ownership actually is
  • Recognise the risks — smart-contract, liquidation, scam — and protect against them

What this course is not

It is not product shilling, yield-farming tips, or promises of returns. Nobody here will tell you what to buy or where to earn. Anyone offering those is usually the risk. This course is relentlessly safety-first, teaching you to use crypto without becoming another cautionary tale.

Building on the foundation

This course assumes the custody foundation of Crypto From Zero: you own your keys, you never share your seed phrase, and you understand that transactions are irreversible. If that's not solid yet, start there — using crypto safely requires holding it safely first. Everything here builds on that foundation, adding the safety of interacting with the wider crypto world.

How the lessons work

Opening a page does not complete it. Almost every lesson has an exercise — usually understanding a risk and deciding your rules before money is on the line — and it only counts once you've done it. The write-up is private; nobody grades it or reads it. It exists because you don't become safe in DeFi by reading about it; you become safe by understanding each risk and deciding your rules in advance, which is exactly what these activities push you to do.
