Welcome — trust nothing, verify everything

I've spent eight years reading blocks, since before it was a job title. Here's what I learned first: in crypto, almost everyone is selling you a conclusion, and almost none of them will show you the evidence. On-chain analysis is how you stop needing them. The ledger is public. You can check the claim yourself. This course teaches you how.

What you'll be able to do

• Read any transaction, address, and token transfer on a block explorer
• Follow funds across addresses and recognise exchanges, mixers, and bridges
• Judge how a token is really distributed and spot concentration red flags
• Value a protocol by its real usage, not vanity metrics
• Recognise the on-chain fingerprints of scams and manipulation
• Run an independent research process and reach your own view

What this course is not

It is not a signal service or a source of price predictions. Nobody here will tell you what to buy. The goal is that you become the kind of person who can investigate a claim, follow the evidence, and reach a conclusion nobody handed you — which is the rarest skill in this entire space.

The analyst's creed

On a public blockchain, "trust me" is never necessary, because you can verify. Where a normal financial system asks you to trust institutions you can't see into, a blockchain lets you look directly at the record. This course is about using that superpower — trusting nothing, verifying everything, and forming views from evidence rather than from whoever shouted loudest.

How the lessons work

Opening a page does not complete it. Almost every lesson has an exercise — usually opening a free block explorer and checking something real — and it only counts once you've done it and written up what you found. The write-up is private; nobody grades it or reads it. It exists because you don't become an analyst by reading about analysis. You become one by looking for yourself.
